House Calls and Hospital Visits
Yes, we do make house calls! If you are too sick or disabled to come to the office, your doctor will try to see you or arrange for a nurse to see you at home. Unfortunately, this is only possible if your home is within a fifteen minute drive from Clinic. The time of the visit will depend on both the urgency and the time the doctor has available.The same considerations apply to nursing home visits. The following are some nearby nursing homes:

- Oak Bay Kiwanis
- Memorial Pavillion, RJH
Dr. Nielsen has active priveleges at the Royal Jubilee Hospital and, unless you are under the care of a specialist, he will look after you there. Drs. MacDougall, Hamilton, and Leduc have active priveleges at the Royal Jubilee Hospital but they will assign your care to one of the specialists or hospital doctors. If you are admitted to the Victoria General Hospital you will always be looked after by a specialist or the hospital doctor.
Dr. Lenser attends deliveries and sees all her patients at the Victoria General Hospital according to her group on-call schedule.
