After Hours
Outside regular office hours, there will always be a physician available for emergencies. Your doctor cannot possibly be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so he or she shares these after-hour on-call duties with a group of excellent physicians.The office answering machine will give a telephone number to page the doctor-on-call for your doctor. Please listen carefully because some doctors are in different call groups.
The doctor-on-call is not paid for providing this service, so please respect his/her privacy and rest time by only calling in urgent situations. Please understand that the doctor does not have access to your medical records so you will have to explain your problem in detail and be able to give a list of medications. There may be a fee charged to you for this non-insured service.
Please note: None of the on-call doctors will renew prescriptions after hours.
